When you fill out a registration form, we collect the following information: Title, First Name, Surname, Country of Residence, Province (if applicable), Contact Number, Email Address, whether you represent a company, Name of Organisation, Title in Organisation, Industry, Company Website, Company Bio or Individual Bio, Countries of Operation, Expected Outcomes, Topic of Interest, Past Feedback, Attendance Days, Dietary Requirements, Additional Requirements, and your consent to receive future event notifications.
3. Why We Collect This Information
We collect your data for the following specific purposes:
- To store your data and process your registration for the applicable event.
- For the event management team to review and either approve or reject your application.
- To send automated email communications regarding your registration status.
- To email approved attendees a unique QR code and a unique 5-character access code for venue entry.
- To facilitate event catering based on your dietary requirements.
4. Special Personal Information (Dietary Requirements)
Dietary requirements may reveal sensitive information. We process this information purely for catering purposes on the day of the event. This specific data will be securely deleted immediately after the event concludes.
5. How Your Data is Stored and Handled
- Database Infrastructure: Your personal information is securely stored in encrypted, cloud-hosted database infrastructure compliant with industry security standards.
- Data Access: Access to raw registration data is strictly restricted to authorized technical administrators and event coordinators solely for operational maintenance, event logistics, and troubleshooting. We guarantee that authorized personnel will strictly not use your personal information for any other purposes.
- We will not share your personal information with third-party marketers.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
